Growth and change, I had my First Pottery studio in 1972 bought a farm after RIT in 1977 [where my training was ceramics, with painting I’m self taught primitive, but by no means naive] and built a full ceramic studio, then in 1981 began painting in earnest in a 120’ loft above an old Furniture Business I bought.I have always painted on my boats full time like sailors sail or fisherman fish I have lived for yrs in Miami Beach and the Fl.Keys had a successful shop that i painted in called Martin on Pineapple in Sarasota and now have a house in the Pine Barrens of Jersey all the while painting on the boat like Arthur Dove, it has dictated a style.
